After my terrible electrolysis experience, I did extensive research to find out why my treatment was so painful. I have a found that extremely painful treatment is usually caused by poor technique and/or poor equipment.
Using an electrologist with a newer, safer machine means that your treatment times will be shorter, more efficient and more comfortable.
- What do BIAE do to ensure that BIAE members use the most up-to-date electrolysis technology?
- Why is a BIAE board member using a machine that looks dated and does not remotely resemble currently available up-to-date electrolysis technology? As this is a board member, what kind of example is this setting?
- Why do members who are using old machines seem to charge market-rate prices for their services considering they have failed to invest in newer technology?
- If you were getting treatment, which machine would you want your electrologist to use?
Whilst conducting my own research, I have found that some ex-BIAE members and former clients of BIAE members have publicly posted on HairTell (an electrolysis forum) that BIAE is reluctant to adopt newer, safer technology and evolve their techniques.
- What would electrolysis in the UK look like if BIAE had never existed?
- What would electrolysis in the UK look like if BIAE actually functioned as a professional body and did what they claim to?
- Is BIAE stifling the progress of electrology in the UK?
